Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald Trailer Talk

It’s 2018, so the majority of movies out right now are remakes or sequels. Fantastic Beasts commits several sins by being both a sequel and spin off to a popular franchise that rightly should’ve ended back in 2012 with Deathly Hallows Part 2. But JK Rowling still seems set on making money from Harry Potter and its fanbase is still going strong, so no way is a studio going to turn down this rife opportunity. I will be seeing this movie so I can review it later. It’s possible that it may surprise me; I had my reservations about the first Fantastic Beasts but I ended up really enjoying it, my only criticisms being the tonal whiplash. JK Rowling has already caused two lots of controversy; one, supporting Johnny Depp who was accused of abuse by his then spouse, despite calling herself a feminist, and two, making one of the few POC roles the villains minion. I don’t have high hopes for this movie, but we will see what kind of a disaster it is.
